Welcome to the Moon Valley Tattler, your neighborhood monthly newspaper since 1980. Our paper speaks to everyone; from the people who live here to those who simply love the area, those who work and play here or simply wish they did. Moon Valley is not a real city, but rather a community of families and businesses, both private and public, that are surrounded by beautiful mountains, a private golf course and a high ranking school district.
Our goal is to reflect as much of the people, businesses and community as we can in our hand-delivered, monthly newspaper. Moon Valley has come to signify an ever-growing number of generations who have migrated back home to raise children, enjoy the recreation opportunities close by, and retire. We are happy to have you in the neighborhood.
Please keep in mind we are not a breaking news or controversial publication, but a true neighborhood, historical newspaper designed to spread the “good news” about what is happening in Moon Valley—whether it is an award, prize or distinction, a plea to help a neighbor or support a non-profit mission, or a forum to help keep the local businesses alive and well. We frequently hear from our readers that they read the paper “cover to cover.”
You’re welcome to submit story ideas, as our staff is very small, and it is very hard to be involved with every event or happening in our area. Help us by being a “Tattler” and email all the details about things you want us and the community to know. Please remember that we receive many submissions each month, and cannot include everything due to space limitations. Please understand that we do not explain why we print what we do and we will not debate the “newsworthiness” of one article over another.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. Please be sure to tell those community members and shopkeepers we lead you to that you read it in the Tattler!
